Founder and editor

Rafael Rocha

Rafael founded Few Better to turn crowded product categories into five clearer choices. He sets the publication’s research rules, reviews editorial corrections and is accountable for the distinction between documented research and hands-on experience.

01

Editorial role

Rafael defines the scope of each guide, the evidence required for a product to be included and the checks that must pass before publication. The work focuses on exact product identity, relevant use cases, meaningful trade-offs and claims that can be traced to reliable sources.

02

How recommendations are researched

Research begins with the question a reader is trying to answer. Manufacturer pages and manuals are preferred for specifications and compatibility; exact retailer offers are checked for price, availability and destination. Independent evidence is used when it adds credible context that primary sources cannot provide.

Most Few Better guides are document-based comparisons. Products are only described as tested when Few Better has used them directly under a documented process.

03

Limits and accountability

No editor can credibly claim specialist expertise in every product category. Few Better avoids inventing credentials or first-hand experience and uses careful sourcing and explicit limitations where specialist review is not available.

Readers can report a factual problem, mismatched product or broken destination to hello@fewbetter.com. Material issues are investigated under the published corrections policy.
