FAQ — Candle Making Kits
01What should a beginner candle-making kit include?+
Confirm the wax, wicks, vessels, thermometer or melter and fragrance components in the exact kit.
02Is a hot plate necessary for making soy candles?+
You need a safe way to melt wax at a controlled temperature; some kits include a plate or dedicated melter.
03Can I swap beeswax for soy wax in a starter kit?+
Wax types can need different wick and fragrance choices, so follow a recipe suited to the wax you actually use.
04How many candles will a kit make?+
Divide the supplied wax by the intended fill weight per vessel and allow for losses; kit counts alone can mislead.
05Are fragrance oils in candle kits safe for every container?+
Use only the supplied or recommended amounts and follow the kit's heat and vessel instructions.
