Choosing a 20-Inch Computer Monitor
The previous list included larger monitors, docking stations and monitor lamps. Those are not 20-inch displays, so the ranked shortlist has been removed until five qualifying current offers can be verified.

Check the viewable size
Retail naming can round a 19.5-inch diagonal to the 20-inch class. Confirm the active viewable size in the manufacturer specification instead of relying on a search-result title.
Expect a narrower current market
Twenty-inch desktop monitors are now a limited category. Do not enlarge the shortlist with 22-, 24-, 27- or 32-inch displays simply to reach five products.
Compare the useful specifications
Check native resolution, panel type, refresh rate, inputs, VESA support and stand adjustment. The Sceptre E205W-16003R documentation, for example, identifies a 19.5-inch viewable TN panel at 1600×900 and up to 75Hz.
Why there is no ranked shortlist
Only one current product family was supported strongly enough by the available evidence. Variants of that same physical monitor do not count as five distinct recommendations.
